Reporting a problem with a route

If a stop is in the wrong place, a gate is closed, or a street is under construction, tell us the tour name and the stop number and we will check it. Route corrections are the messages we act on fastest, because someone is standing there right now. If the audio did not play, it helps to know your phone and browser — narration uses your device's own speech engine, so behaviour varies between iOS, Android and desktop browsers.

Writing a tour as a local expert

Anyone who knows a place well can publish a walking tour under their own name. You pick the stops on a map and write what you would say at each one; the tour then plays for walkers the same way ours do. Start at the tour builder, or write to us first if you would rather talk it through. We do not charge guides, and we do not take a cut — there is nothing to take, because the tours are free to listen to.

Partnerships, tourism boards and press

Cities, museums and cultural organisations are welcome to get in touch about covering a route or a district. Tell us the area, the audience you have in mind, and whether narration already exists in another form. For press enquiries, please say what you are writing and your deadline.

Privacy and your data

Messages sent through this form reach us by email and are kept only as long as it takes to answer them. If you want the data we hold about you removed, say so in your message — see the privacy policy for what we collect and why. Location data never leaves your phone: GPS positions are used in the browser to decide when a stop should play, and are not sent to our servers.
