• Gion After the Lanterns Come On — Kyoto, by Aiko Nakamura. I trained in tea, which is mostly training in how to notice. Walk Gion at dusk with me and practice: wood, water, lamplight, and the exact minute the district decides to become beautiful.
• Gyeongbokgung: The Paperwork Behind the Throne — Seoul, by Ji-eun Han. I spent years reading Joseon court records before I ever guided a tour. This walk follows the documents, not the architecture — every building here generated paper, and the paper is where the palace actually lived.
