Self-Guided Walking Tours in Thailand

1 free self-guided walking tour, with an audio guide at every stop.

Rattanakosin is Bangkok's royal island, laid out in 1782 when the capital moved here: the Grand Palace, the Emerald Buddha and the reclining Buddha of Wat Pho stand on one bank of the Chao Phraya, and Wat Arun rises on the other.

Our self-guided walk starts at Wat Phra Kaew and the Grand Palace, continues to Wat Pho, walks down to the Tha Tien pier for the short ferry across the river and ends at Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn. About 55 minutes and 2.8 km.

Free, no app, no signup: the narration for each stop plays as you arrive.
